Helen Macdonald is an experienced Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapist and Health Psychologist, and is a Consutlant in EMDR. She studied Psychology at the University of Leicester; qualified as a Registered Nurse (Mental Health) in Wales, trained in Behavioural Psychotherapy at the Institute of Psychiatry in London and has a Masters' degree in Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapy from the University of Derby.
She is a British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) accredited Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Trainer, She is a Health and Social Care Professions Council Chartered as a Health Psychologist, a full member and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She has extensive experience of working with clients with anxiety, Chronic Pain, depression, post-traumatic stress, gambling problems and other difficulties. She is nationally and internationally recognised as a trainer, delivering workshops and training in Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapy; and offers clinical supervision for therapists.
